Debt Consolidation Programs 1 Month ago  
How would I know if the Debt Consolidation Program being offered to me is legit. With the current economic condition, more and more people are becoming desperate, which makes it hard for me to trust people. I know that the government has several programs to help people with finance, but don't know which one is right for me and don't know which is legit and which is not. Any help is appreciated.

You are right, there are a lot of scams out there. I came across this website, that lists reviews for different debt consolidation companies. http://debt-consolidation-services-review.toptenreviews.com

This site lists reviews and ratings to help people decide on which company to use for debt consolidation. I suggest that you check the better business bureau for any complaints/reviews before you do business with any company.
